The volunteer requirement is a 4 hour volunteer shift at Inver Grove Heights hosted tournament.
A $300 volunteer deposit is required at the beginning of the season. For Families with multiple children in the program there will be a $500 max deposit. This check is only cashed in the volunteer requirements are not met. Volunteer checks should be written out to "IGH Basketball" and can be provided in person or mailed to:

Volunteers are key to helping this program be it's very best!
Team managers helps manage the teams Sports Engine account and communicate information throughout the season. Requests for volunteers will be made at the Parent meeting in September, or to volunteer in advance please contact us below. Please note, Team Managers are assigned only as needed and must be approved by the Head Coach and Board. See the Coach section below for more information.
You can also join the IGH Basketball Board. The Board meets once a month and members are assigned roles that help to keep the program running smoothly. Please contact us below for current open Board positions.
Individuals interested in coaching a team can express interest on the registration entry form for each season. You can also contact a board member.
Coaches are required to fulfill Trusted Coaches guidelines which includes a background check, completion of required safety courses (via an online session) and board approval. Coaches are evaluated through out the year. Previous coaching experience is helpful, but not required.
Maximum per team of 1 Head Coach, 1 Assistant Coach and (if needed) 1 Team Manager.
There is a informational meeting prior to the season and a designated Coach Coordinator Board Member. A coach's clinic is run by the High School Coaches or other coaching organizations will be contacted to run a clinic.
