Volunteer Information

 

Welcome Volunteers!

Here you will find information about volunteering for the tournament. If you have any questions, please contact Volunteer Coordinator.

As required by the IGH Basketball Association; all families need to volunteer at the home tournament this season to fulfill volunteer requirements and to avoid the cashing of your deposit check.  We are requiring all families to volunteer at the tournament for one 4-hour shift for each participating child in the program (limited to two shifts per family).  If you are a coach (head coach + 1 assistant coach) in the  program, you are not required to volunteer for a tournament shift.


Volunteers

 

Please note the following volunteer updates for this year:

  • All volunteers are required to sign in at the tournament director's table located in the school cafeteria.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes early for your shift.
  • Concessions are located in the school cafeteria.
  • Entrances to the complex are through the Main Entrance at the high school and the Main Entrance doors to the middle school.
  • Directional signs to the cafeteria, and all gyms will be posted throughout the complex/middle school & high school.
  • If you have any questions about the tournament, please contact the tournament director.  Warning: Cell phone coverage in the school can be limited. 
  • This year volunteering for your shift will be done online. To sign up please see the link at the top.
  • You sign up for your preferred volunteer role.  Board members have the ability to re-assign volunteers to different roles as needed.
